One word, which has so much depth, so much meaning.
I got the idea of spelling it out from a game I saw a friend run on another word. I had to think long and hard on words which brought together would make sense, and still capture the essence of what a mother means to me. Here's my attempt. One out of many others around the world. What do you think, did I do a good job?
I'm always amazed even though I've now been doing this motherhood thing for over 10 years how much being a mum has heightened my appreciation for my own mum. There's so much to it. The sacrifice, the long hours, sleepless nights, planning everything with your child(ren) in mind, putting their needs ahead of yours. Each time I do this for my children, and I feel overwhelmed, tired or cranky, I remember my mum doing the same and more for me. Thank you mum.
How would you put into a few words what it means, what it encapsulates? Want to give it a try? Tell me how you would spell out MOTHER?
